Qatar has updated the green, yellow, and red lists countries regarding the COVID-19 travel and return policy, The number of countries on the red list has increased.
The Ministry of Public Health has revised its list of countries based on Covid-19 risk classification.
The number of nations on the green list has decreased from 21 to 11, while the number of countries on the yellow list has increased from 33 to 27.
The number of countries on the red list has increased to 167. In the previous list, there were 153 countries.
According to the amount of risk in each country, the Ministry has divided countries into green, yellow, and red categories.
Following is the full list of updated classifications, for green, yellow, and red list countries.
India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and the Philippines are the only Asian countries that are not classified as red, yellow, or green list countries.
People coming from these Six countries still need to follow the following policies introduced by MoPh at the start of this month.
- Those who have been vaccinated or recovered from COVID-19 in Qatar are subject to a two-day hotel quarantine. They can leave the hotel on the second day if the PCR test results are negative.
- The rest of the people will be held in a hotel quarantine for ten days.
