Qatar reintroduces hotel quarantine for Indian travelers

MoPH said: travelers from India coming to Qatar are once again subjected to mandatory hotel quarantine starting at 12:00 noon on August 2nd.

The following are the guidelines that apply to Indian nationals, according to the Indian Embassy in Qatar:

  1.  Those who have a Resident Permit and have been fully immunized in Qatar with MoPH-approved vaccines or who have recovered from Covid-19 in Qatar must stay in a hotel for two days. On day 2, an RT-PCR test will be performed. The traveler will be released if the result is negative.
  2. Residents with Resident Permits who have been vaccinated outside Qatar, have not been vaccinated, or have recovered from Covid-19 outside Qatar must stay in a hotel for ten days.
  3. Visitors (families, tourists, and workers) who have been vaccinated outside of Qatar using MoPH-approved vaccines must stay in a hotel for a minimum of 10 days.
  4. Non-Vaccinated visitors (families, tourists, and workers) are not permitted to enter Qatar.
